A 30-metre filtered curing oven on 402 metres of conveyor.

Powder polymerises in the oven; the film forms there. Our 30-metre tunnel oven runs at a steady regime with 402 metres of automatically lubricated cardan conveyor across both plants and single-point PLC control.
Curing is the step where the coating is chemically completed. When temperature and time are not held together, the film either fails to cross-link fully or yellows; both show up in the field years later.
The 30-metre tunnel oven keeps the part at regime temperature long enough. The filter system prevents volatiles formed inside the oven from contaminating the line and the part.
The automatically lubricated cardan conveyor, 402 metres across both plants, carries 240 kg per hanger and moves the part along a single line from pretreatment to oven. The whole line is monitored from a single-point PLC control panel.
