Frequently asked questions
The questions asked most often when requesting a quote and making a decision, answered short and direct.
What part sizes can you coat?
Our tunnel lines run on a total of 402 metres of conveyor across both plants and carry 240 kg per hanger. For off-line work, our box-type booth and oven measure 1.5 m wide × 1.8 m high × 6.5 m long.
Send us your part dimensions and we will determine together which line suits it and what the lead time will be.
What is the difference between powder coating and wet paint?
Powder coating contains no solvent. Powder is charged electrostatically, sprayed onto the surface, then melts and polymerises in the oven to form a film. Overspray is recovered, so waste is far lower.
The resulting film is generally thicker, more durable and more impact-tolerant than wet paint.
How should I choose a colour?
Specifying by RAL Classic code is the safest route; it is the standard way to be sure both sides are talking about the same colour. You can browse our RAL chart on this site.
Gloss level (matt, semi-matt, gloss) and texture (smooth, textured) are as decisive as colour; we recommend stating these in your request too.
Can rusty or previously painted parts be coated?
Yes. These parts go through blasting first; rust, scale, old coating and weld slag are removed mechanically. They then enter the six-stage pretreatment on the spray line.
Why is pretreatment so important?
Most coating failures come not from the paint but from surface preparation. On a surface with residual oil, salt or oxide the film adheres mechanically but cannot form a chemical bond; corrosion then advances underneath the coating.
Our six-stage line removes that risk step by step, from degreasing to the nano conversion layer.
Do you collect the parts or do we deliver them?
Parts are delivered to our facility. Our NOSAB plant is at NOSAB 116th Street No:11, Nilüfer; our Alaaddinbey plant at Alaaddinbey Köy Yolu Cd. No:37/1.

What information do you need for a quote?
Part dimensions, material (sheet, casting, aluminium, etc.), quantity, required RAL code, gloss and service environment (indoor/outdoor) are enough. A technical drawing or photograph speeds the process up.
Do you hold a quality certificate?
We hold an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certificate, number QMS-005460, issued by IQR International. Scope: Electrostatic powder coating activities for the automotive sector.
You can view it on our Certificates page.
Do you coat aluminium and galvanised parts?
Yes. Both materials need their own pretreatment: on aluminium the natural oxide layer is decisive, on galvanised steel the zinc surface and the risk of outgassing. Nano conversion chemistry works on both surfaces.
State the material in your request; we select the line parameters and powder type accordingly.
Do you measure film thickness?
Yes. The cured coating thickness is measured in microns, and it is the fourth of our quality control steps. The common working range in powder coating is 60–120 microns; a thin film compromises protection, an excessive film compromises appearance and edge coverage.
If you want a target range agreed in advance, say so in your request.
