RAL colour chart
Do not describe a colour — code it. “Light grey” is two different colours on two sides of a conversation; RAL 7035 is one colour.
RAL Classic is the most widely used colour standard in industry. It uses four-digit codes, and the first digit gives the colour family: 1000s yellow, 2000s orange, 3000s red, 4000s violet, 5000s blue, 6000s green, 7000s grey, 8000s brown, 9000s black and white.
